Replacing glass properly, not just quickly
Glass fails for a reason. It might be impact, thermal stress from sun on a shaded edge, a misaligned frame, a failed seal that has let moisture into a double-glazed unit, or hardware that has worn and put load on the glass. Simply swapping the pane without understanding why it broke often means it breaks again.
We inspect the opening, identify the cause, and replace with glass that matches the original specification, or recommend an upgrade where the original was wrong for the location. Because we also fabricate and install aluminium, frames, gaskets and hardware can be repaired in the same visit.
What we replace and repair
- Cracked or shattered toughened and laminated panels
- Failed double-glazed units with condensation between panes
- Glass balustrade and staircase panels
- Glass doors, sliding systems and hardware
- Shower screens and mirrors
- Window and facade glass, including resealing and gasket replacement
Measuring and matching
Toughened glass cannot be cut or altered after manufacture, so the replacement must be measured accurately the first time. We take site measurements, confirm thickness, edge finish, tint, coatings and hole or notch positions, and fabricate to match. For double-glazed units we record spacer, gas fill and coating requirements so performance is not lost.
Safe removal and clean-up
Broken glass is made safe first, with the area cordoned off and fragments removed fully. Where the opening is on an upper floor or over a public area, access and protection are planned before work starts.
What to send us
Photos of the damage and the whole opening, approximate dimensions, the location in Dubai and whether the glass is internal or external. If you have the original drawing or supplier details, include them.
